Lecture 4: Exercise-Manners

In this lecture, students practice the use of -ed sounds in past tense verbs and improve oral communication through polite dialogue practice. Reading comprehension activities help them understand manners and table etiquette, while analytical reading encourages finding poems about good manners. The language focus develops vocabulary, spelling, grammar, and writing skills. Students learn possessive pronouns, similes, use of ‘should’ and ‘should not’, conjunctions, adverbs of manner, and correct punctuation. Finally, the writing section emphasizes the central idea of the poem “Whole Duty of Children”, rhyming words, and creative writing exercises to help learners express values of honesty, politeness, and respect in an imaginative way.
