Math: Class 4: Chapter 7: Data Handling

Lecture 1: Graphs

In this lesson, students learned about different types of graphs used in data handling: bar graphs, line graphs, and pie charts. A bar graph uses rectangular bars to represent data and compare categories. The height or length of each bar shows the value, with equal spacing and clear labels on both axes. A line graph shows changes over time using points connected by lines, useful for tracking trends like temperature or marks. A pie chart is a circular graph showing parts of a whole, with each slice representing a portion of the total. Graphs help us understand data visually and make comparisons easier.
