English: Class 5: Chapter 5

Lecture 1: I am the Earth

The poem “I Am the Earth” is written from the Earth’s perspective, where it speaks directly to humans. The Earth reminds us that it is our home and only hope for survival, yet humans continue to destroy it with pollution, plastic, and waste. Despite this harm, the Earth forgives and allows life to continue, but with deep regret. It pleads with humanity to stop harmful practices, show love and care, and take responsibility to protect nature. The central message is clear: saving the Earth is in our hands, and we must act before it is too late.
